Sockapalooza Progress

I started my Sockapalooza socks a couple of days ago during a Harry Potter movie marathon. My pal likes dark blue so I got out some Dream in Color in "Nightwatch." I really like this yarn, not only because of how nice it is to work with, but also because of the subtle hints of purple and green along with the blue. It's very pretty and my pictures don't do it justice.
The pattern I'm using is Sleepwalker Socks. It's one of the Dream in Color patterns and it is trucking right along. I know it looks like a Monkey. Really, its not. Instead of the V shape of a Monkey this looks more like leaves on a vine.
I'll try to update again later today to make up for the fact that I'll be gone for the next two weeks. Maybe I'll get lots of sock knitting done while I'm gone (It is a 12 hour drive each way).

Cute socks that aren't Monkey socks! I love that shade of blue.

OMG that blue is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for reminding me that I have that pretty pattern and should knit up a pair for myself! Good luck and happy knitting.

That is a beautiful pattern and yarn combo. The yarn is wonderful with all the subtle shading. Here's wishing you lots of successful knitting time.

I still like those socks but they are showing up a lot lighter in that picture than when I saw you knitting them at the LYS. Have a great and safe trip.

Very pretty! A 12 hour drive should make for a very productive trip. Safe travels!
